One March 2nd and 3rd, 1859 under a sky of heavy rain the largest auction of Africans took place in Savannah GA. The two day event was held at TinBroeck Race Course where approximately 436 people were separated and sold to the highest bidder.

DYN— Chests of tea wasn’t the only thing thrown into the harbor this night. The children of Boston were also catapulted into the water. The reason, to assure the tea leaves didn’t resurface.
